Segregation and Categorization of Stones
Our company offers three primary categories of natural stone: Travertine, Granite, and Marble. Each type possesses distinct properties—Travertine offers textured warmth, Granite provides superior durability, and Marble delivers classic elegance. This comprehensive range enables us to address diverse project requirements with precision and quality.

Natural Stone
Natural stone owes its distinctive character to the geological processes that bind its mineral components—a complexity that yields an endless spectrum of colors, textures, and structural patterns. Because no two deposits are identical, each stone carries a unique signature, setting it apart from manufactured building materials. This inherent variety gives architects and designers remarkable creative freedom; they can layer, contrast, or pair different stones with other design features to achieve almost any aesthetic goal. The formation history of each stone—shaped by heat, pressure, and time—ensures that for every architectural need, from cladding to flooring, there exists a perfectly suited natural option. Moreover, this diversity is not merely superficial—it opens up virtually limitless design possibilities, constrained only by the designer's vision. Crucially, these natural variations cannot be replicated in a laboratory; they are the product of nature's own craftsmanship. Farvado Stone, by continuously modernizing its production capabilities, now offers an extensive selection of these marble varieties, reliably supplying them to its clientele.
Stone Leveling
As you are aware, stones are first extracted from various mines and are then sent to stone processing factories in the form of multi-faced blocks, each weighing approximately 20 tons. At the processing plant, the initial step involves placing the block using a stationary overhead crane installed at the facility. The block is then transported via wagons to the leveling machine, where the very first stage of cutting and production begins. At this point, if necessary, the blocks are squared (or "sized"), as some stones extracted from quarries may not have regular geometric shapes and require squaring before further processing.
Transfer to the workshop
After extraction from the quarry, the stone blocks—each weighing approximately 20 tons—are loaded onto heavy-duty trucks and transported to the processing workshop. Upon arrival, a stationary overhead crane is used to unload the blocks and position them securely on the workshop floor. From there, they are moved via rail-guided wagons or forklifts to the initial processing stations, where the first stage of cutting and leveling begins. This transfer phase is critical, as it ensures the safe and efficient movement of raw materials while minimizing the risk of damage to the valuable stone blocks before production commences.
Stacking and storing
At the moment, we are managing our inventory. We are using the crane to move this block to the designated storage section and stack it with the other blocks on the left. This helps us organize the materials, keep the working area clear, and prevent any damage to the stones while we handle our next orders.
Packaging and Shipping
We are currently in the packaging and shipping stage. Our team is using the crane to lift this heavy stone block and carefully load it onto the transport vehicle. We are taking all the necessary precautions, such as securing the lifting straps and preparing the base, to ensure the block is perfectly stable during transit. Once it is firmly placed on the truck, we will add protective padding and secure it with heavy-duty straps to guarantee safe delivery to your location without any damage.
